Description:

Hyzer Pines is a unique compliment to the Oregon Disc Golf scene. Elevation is 3100 ft and so disc stability is clearly more pronounced than at sea level.

Topographically Hyzer Pines is flat and wooded with Ponderosa Pine Trees and sagebrush subalpine vegetation. There is one water hazard and no Poison Oak or other hazardous plants.

Cement Tee Pads were not implemented due to the elevation and temperature extremes which would cause cracking and breakage.

Directions and How to get there:

From Hwy 20 in Sisters go West on Hwy 242 McKenzie Highway for 1.25 miles and then take a right turn on W. McKinney Butte Road. Make the first left into the parking lot and the Hyzer Pines Kiosk is located next to S.O.A.R. which is the Sisters Organization for Activities and Recreation community center. S.O.A.R. is adjacent to Sisters High School.
